It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to retire our beloved Forum Detroit. It has served the Polonia Detroit for over 10 years, and was a source of joy for many. However, after many months of inactivity, the time has come to bid it farewell.
Deepest and warmest thanks to all those who contributed to Forum discussions over the years, either by sharing their thoughts or reading those of others. Your presence and participation served as a building block of this online polish community.
Just got back from APAC's conference in D.C., which was attended by about 150 people. More to come as we put together programs over the next 6 months to help Polish Americans run for office and get involved in the political process. See

Thanks. My assignment is Local Governance. We hope to organize, soon after the first of the year, workshops for Polish Americans on how to run for office, how to set up a campaign, how to fundraise, etc. This will be completely nonpartisan--the purpose will simply be to create a guide for folks who'd like to run, or who might be interested in participating in the political process as a volunteer, as a staffer, etc., so that we end up with more Polish Americans making the decisions that shape our communities and our nation. There is more to the APAC than that, but that's my little corner of it.
Good job this is way to do it . " Nie budowac murow z cegiel ale mosty "
